One Year After Tarzan Actor's Son's Controversial Death, Family Members Allege Cover-Up

Family Alleges Unlawful Conduct by Santa Barbara Law Enforcement

One year after the fatal shooting of Cameron Ely, the son of Tarzan actor Ron Ely, his sisters are speaking out about their allegations of a cover-up by Santa Barbara law enforcement.

On October 15, 2023, Cameron Ely was shot 22 times by Santa Barbara Sheriffs. The family's social media accounts have been vocal in their accusations, with Kaitland Ely stating on Instagram, "We have endured unimaginable pain and suffering in the year since the killing of our mother."

Kirsten and Kaitland Ely have also rallied together with friends and family members at the Los Alamos home of Ron's daughter, Kaitland Ely.

The Santa Barbara law enforcement has not yet publicly commented on the family's allegations.
