Army Motorcycle Counseling

Motorcycle Safety Program MSP and Motorcycle Safety Program Coordinator MSPC

Chapter 13-17

Sample Briefs

This information is a sample of a motorcycle safety briefing for military riders and supervisors. It covers the requirements for protective gear that are consistent with Army Regulation 385-10 The Army Safety and Occupational Health Program, Chapter 13-17. It also includes the requirement to complete Basic Rider Course 2 (BRC2) and Motorcycle Safety Refresher Course (MSRC) and addresses unit responsibilities.

The Army Combat Readiness Center is pursuing additional behavioral-based instruction to reduce accidents, citations, and injuries. For more information, contact the unit or installation safety office or the Motorcycle Safety Program Coordinator (MSPC).

The Motorcycle Operator badge will expire three years after the BRC2MSRC was completed. Soldiers must take a refresher course before they can renew the badge.
