In a highly publicized case, Chad Daybell has been sentenced to death for the murders of his wife, Tammy Daybell, and two of his current wife's children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow. The sentencing comes a year after Lori Vallow Daybell, Chad's former wife, was convicted of all charges related to the children's killings.
The Daybells were separately tried for their alleged involvement in the deaths. Lori Vallow Daybell was convicted on May 12, 2023, and is currently awaiting sentencing. Chad Daybell's trial concluded on Thursday, June 1, 2024, with a jury finding him guilty of first-degree murder and conspiracy charges. The verdict came after a six-hour deliberation by the jury.
